Meet the team, part 1:

1 Who are you?

I am Bisheshwor, UI/UX and graphic designer. I am currently studying my masters at Bauhaus University Weimar. I am originally from Nepal, the land of the Himalayas, and I moved to beautiful Thuringia in April 2024 to do my Master's degree. Before that, I had already studied in Kathmandu and worked as a UI/UX designer for five years. In my free time, I enjoy walking through the Ilmpark and the streets of Weimar, watching films and playing table tennis. And I love to cook!

2 What exactly are you doing?

I study Human-Computer Interaction, an English-language degree programme. In this subject, we take visual design to a more technical level, so to speak, because good design and good development go hand in hand in times of intelligent software systems, especially because of the triumph of mobile devices. Everything has to be intuitive to use, otherwise it won't find favour. This combination of technical depth and visual perfection is exactly my thing.

3 What connects you to ICO-LUX?

ICO-LUX successfully applied for a scholarship from the Thüringer Aufbaubank to support me as a specialist of the future. I am very grateful for that.
I am also a working student for visual design at ICO-LUX, which is an ideal way to gain practical experience alongside my studies.
I think ICO-LUX develops super exciting products and the team spirit is great. For example, it was very funny at the team event when we tried out an internal game together that Jan, Swantje and Louisa came up with.
Overall, what I like best is that my skills are recognised here and that I have become part of such an open-minded and cooperative team.
