We are publishing this post on 14 February 2025, Valentine's Day, the day of love between ... couples. That's nice. But you know what else is super nice? When teams get along well at work!
Our winter party 2025
That's how it is with us. To make sure it stays that way, we work particularly hard twice a year on team building!
For our winter team event, we hiked out of the centre of Jena, up to the Napoleonstein and back down to the paper mill.
But we didn't just chat, eat and drink until our company credit cards glowed, we also played! Ver-ICO-LUX-t good games.
Werewolf, Mafia, Among us - that was yesterday. We play Fraudsters are among us! With insured persons, insurance fraudsters, insurance agents, group insured persons; with nocturnal administrators, insurance ombudsmen and and and... great fun! We're seriously considering going into small-scale production and giving it to our customers as a gift. Also good: ICO.tivity - our version of Activity.
We programme in C++ and are (mostly) pretty good at it. But the fact that Lars and his team came up with the keyword ‘dental insurance’ in fewer seconds than it takes to even say the word... Chapeau! (He drew a tooth and then ++. Not finished yet and Sara was already calling out the solution).
So, love goes out to the team! We're really looking forward to our summer team event in August or September. And, of course, we're also looking forward to the busy months in between.
